Experience

Two decades in the water

National-team racing, a Sports Science degree in Évora, and coaching from Portugal to Singapore. Here's the journey that shapes every session I run.

  1. Nov 2023 – Sep 2026

    Swimming Coach

Aquaducks — Swiss Club, Swiss School & Hollandse Club, Singapore

Write individual swim and dryland programs, with a focus on technique, progression, and measurable results. Lead the Swiss School team at competitions, organize races and water polo events, and work closely with clients and parents — helping swimmers break club and personal records along the way.

  2. Nov 2021 – Nov 2023

    Swimming Coach

Aminata – Évora Clube de Natação, Portugal

Coached every age group, from 3–5 year olds through the Masters team (25+). Planned, ran, and guided training sessions, and worked as a summer camp monitor — organizing the day and stepping in with technical coaching when it counted.

  3. Feb 2021 – Nov 2021

    Professional Internship

Évora Municipal Swimming Pools and Sports Complex

Coached from babies through to competition. Earned Grade I Triathlon Coach certification, instructed athletics and cycling, and monitored federated triathlon athletes at regional, national, and international races.

  4. Sep 2019 – Jun 2020

    Assistant Coach (Trainee)

Aminata – Évora Clube de Natação, Portugal

Supported learn-to-swim, water aerobics, and youth competition. Built session-planning skills, demonstrated technique on deck, and analyzed federated athletes.
